The adaptive reuse of 93 Edward Street revitalizes a prominent Brisbane CBD corner. Preserving the building’s heritage while incorporating contemporary design, the project creates a sustainable and valuable addition to the city. Mary & Edward offers premium, design-focused and flexible spaces for commercial and hospitality tenants, catering to modern businesses and visitors. The design balances preserving the building’s original character with enhancing functionality, accessibility, and sustainability. Restored visual connections and entries to the lower ground floor and laneway improve the public realm and connects to the soon to be enhanced Mary Street corridor. This project sets a new benchmark for adaptive reuse by seamlessly integrating heritage preservation, timeless design, and sustainability.
