Media summary

Onda reimagines a dilapidated bungalow-style dwelling in a riverside suburb of Perth to create a modern family home. Working within the existing architectural shell, we reconfigured the layout and introduced fluid curves to maximise space and circulation while embracing city views without compromising privacy. A considered material palette of limestone, timber, and natural stone complements the home’s undulating forms to impart a calming environment in which daily life unfolds.

Onda, is the culmination of 25 years of thinking about all the things, big and small, that we would want if we could have them in our ultimate house.

It is ambitious, complex and unique – and it is exactly the family home that we wanted with different areas and spaces throughout. We wanted it to be a place that our kids and their friends can come to and enjoy with us – whether its cooking pizzas with a beer on the balcony or shooting hoops on the basketball court.

We could not be happier with the end product that is Onda.
