Open House Hobart and Southern Midlands was launched on Monday 6 October on World Architecture Day at the Hobart Town Hall –guests were offered a sneak peak of Ingle Hall and the Town Hall Underground!

The launch was attended by over 200 people, including Uncle Rodney Dillon who offered a welcome to country, The Hon. Kerry Vincent MLC, Minister for Housing and Planning, The Hon. Meg Webb MLC , Mr Marcus Vermey MP, City of Hobart Lord Mayor Councillor Anna Reynolds, our ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ Tasmanian Chapter President Daniel Lane, President of Master Builders Tasmania, Vonette Mead, Stuart Collins, Senior Policy Director from the HIA and Executive Director of HIA Tasmania, Benjamin Price. Not to mention the many wonderful building owners and caretakers, volunteers, members and the community who make Open House happen!

Open House Southern Midlands will be held on Saturday 1 and Sunday 2 November, followed by Open House Hobart on Saturday 9 and Sunday 10 November.
